Studying subjective perception of time by Vietnamese and Russian students

Introduction. The perception of time at student age is an important component for successful adaptation to other conditions education, socialising in a new social circle and acquiring knowledge necessary further professional development. Learning the modern world are generally similar; however, students from different countries bearers differing cultures. aim compare characteristics subjective terms its past, present future by Vietnamese Russian students. Materials methods. sample encompassed number university Vietnam Russia. total respondents was 199 (105 94 students). To achieve set goal, psychosemantic method “Semantic differential” were applied. statistical data processing methods involved arithmetic mean Mann-Whitney U-test. Results. research results revealed certain differences between Russia level trend (p≥0.05) – as concerns peculiarities structure perception. Conclusion. influenced society culture: less exposed Western ideas management, therefore their meaningful; same time, past deemed be equally due ancestor cult placing importance on connection with departed. power vividness manifestation aspects also culturally conditioned since it not customary Southeast Asia express one’s emotional manifestations vehemently.
